Become a School in Stats tester

School in Stats is currently being tested with teachers. We're looking for teachers willing to try the app, use it with realistic marks workflows, and share honest feedback.

You don't need technical skills. Use the app the way you normally process marks, then tell us what works, what doesn't and what could be better.

Why we're testing

Built with teachers, not just for them

School in Stats handles something teachers can't afford to get wrong: learners' marks and the reports that go home to parents. Before a wider release, we want the app tested by the people who do this work every term. Their feedback shows us where calculations, screens or reports need to change.

Closed testing lets us fix problems early, with a group of teachers who can tell us what actually happens in their schools.

Who we're looking for

  • Class teachers
  • Subject teachers
  • Heads of department and academic coordinators
  • School administrators
  • Anyone who regularly processes marks and prepares reports

Tester FAQ

Questions about testing

Who can become a tester?

Teachers and anyone else who can realistically try marks processing and report generation — class teachers, subject teachers, academic coordinators and school administrators.

Do I need technical skills?

No. Use the app the way you'd normally process marks and tell us what works and what doesn't.

What should I test?

Marks entry, setting up classes and learners, calculations, reports, offline use — and anything else you'd normally do at the end of an exam.

How do I give feedback?

Use the tester form, and share quick feedback, questions and screenshots in the WhatsApp tester group.

Is School in Stats publicly available?

Not yet. The app is in closed testing with a group of teachers before a wider release.

What happens after I submit the tester form?

The School in Stats team reviews tester sign-ups and shares app access, testing updates and instructions with testers directly and through the WhatsApp tester group.

Will I be paid for testing?

No. Testing is voluntary. In return you get early access and a real say in how the app works.
